There are no bad emotions...only informative emotions.

Some emotions get a bad rep. Jealousy is one of them. I think a lot of people experience shame around feeling jealous. If we can see past the shame and allow ourselves to be curious about jealousy- it’ll be quite interesting and informative as to what we find.

Often jealousy, when kindly explored, can direct us to hopes, dreams, goals, and yearnings of ours that we have been ignoring. When we see someone have success in one area, and find the feeling of jealousy pop up- can we hit “pause” and explore it gently? Maybe we ask ourselves- where is this feeling coming from- what have I been ignoring that’s important to me? Because it’s really not about the other person- it’s all about you. And how empowering is that?
