Working With Social Anxiety

A bit on social anxiety....

Social anxiety is a common form of anxiety- it revolves around thoughts that other people are judging/scrutinizing us or we will do something humiliating/embarrassing in front of others. This kind of anxiety can impair interpersonal relationships, and the experience of life in general.

I’ll put an older post in my stories about the ways that social anxiety can manifest in real life. It can often be displayed in behaviors that others might not know are a product of anxiety.

Here’s a snapshot of what working with social anxiety can look like, using cognitive/behavioral/ mindfulness components.
